C/W MARS, (our regional library system which provides all online catalogs for
Member libraries) has recently revamped their entire website. The main page for
Lilly Library’s catalog is located at:
http://wmars.cwmars.org/search~S82/
This can be typed into your browser directly or you can go to Lilly home page:
and follow the Catalog link. To browse all of the library catalogs in Western Mass
or search another library’s
catalog, use the drop down menu (where it says
and select ‘All Western Mass Libraries’ or go to:
http://wmars.cwmars.org/search~/
To request an item, find the item you want (by searching Title, Author, Keyword, etc which are available via the blue tabs above the search field) and click on the
“Request” button which looks like this:
When viewing multiple items the Request button should be to the right of each item’s entry. When viewing only one item (by clicking on the item to see its contents, owning libraries and further details) the Request button should be located with several other buttons above and below the entry.
The catalog will ask you to Log In to the system with your library card number and (if you have not previously done so) by choosing a PIN NUMBER. If you have not previously chosen a PIN NUMBER, the system will prompt you to enter your card number and leave the PIN field blank, and then have you enter your card number again
And enter a new PIN NUMBER twice.
